[00:11.66]If it seems like I've been lost in let's remember
[00:16.82]If you think I'm feeling older and I'm missing my younger days
[00:21.51]Oh then you should have known me much better
[00:25.00]'Cause my past is something that never
[00:27.07]Got in my way
[00:29.98]Oh no
[00:32.63]Still I would not be here now
[00:34.57]If I never had the hunger
[00:37.81]And I'm not ashamed to say
[00:39.32]That the wild boys were my friends
[00:42.59]Oh 'cause I never felt the desire
[00:45.96]Until their music set me on fire
[00:48.13]And then I was saved yeah
[00:52.97]That's why I'm keeping the faith
[00:56.72]Yeah yeah yeah yeah keeping the faith
[01:04.37]We wore matador boots
[01:05.79]Only flagg brothers had them with the cuban heel
[01:09.96]Iridescent socks with the same color shirt
[01:12.27]And a tight pair of chinos
[01:14.52]Oh I put on my shark skin jacket
[01:17.45]You know the kind with the velvet collar
[01:19.70]And ditty bop shades
[01:22.62]Oh yeah
[01:25.35]I took a fresh pack of luckies
[01:26.79]And a mint called sen sen
[01:30.93]My old man's trojans and his old spice after shave
[01:35.49]Oh combed my hair in a pompadour
[01:38.53]Like the rest of the Romeos wore
[01:40.68]A permanent wave yeah
[01:45.67]That's why I'm keeping the faith
[01:49.42]Yeah yeah yeah yeah keeping the faith
[01:56.63]You can get just so much from a good thing
[02:01.71]You can linger too long in your dreams
[02:07.03]Say goodbye to the oldies but goodies
[02:12.88]'Cause the good old days weren't always good
[02:15.55]And tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems
[02:18.47]Learned stickball as a formal education
[02:23.84]Lost a lot of fights
[02:24.81]But it taught me how to lose OK
[02:28.22]Oh I heard about sex but not enough
[02:31.59]I found you could dance and still look tough anyway
[02:36.47]Oh yes I did
[02:39.71]I found out a man ain't just being macho
[02:44.56]Ate an awful lot of late night drive in food
[02:47.59]Drank a lot of take home pay
[02:50.15]I thought I was the Duke of Earl
[02:52.49]When I made it with a red haired girl in the Chevrolet
[02:57.59]Oh yeah
[02:59.58]That's why I'm keeping the faith
[03:03.31]Yeah yeah yeah yeah keeping the faith
[03:10.53]Oooohhhh
[03:15.47]Oooohhhh
[03:20.72]Oooohhhh
[03:26.65]You know the good old days weren't always good
[03:29.30]And tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems
[03:32.28]Now I told you my reasons for the whole revival
[03:37.30]Now I'm going outside
[03:38.47]To have an ice cold beer in the shade
[03:41.93]Oh I'm gonna to listen to my 45's
[03:45.27]Ain't it wonderful to be alive
[03:47.20]When the rock 'n roll plays yeah
[03:52.45]When the memory stays yeah
[03:57.56]That's why I'm keeping the faith
[04:01.31]Yeah yeah yeah yeah keeping the faith
[04:08.31]I'm keeping the faith

[04:21.50]Oh I am
[04:23.92]You know I'm keeping the faith
